What's the difference between passport renewal and new application?

If your most recent passport was issued in the last 15 years, when you were 16 or older, and is undamaged, you can renew (DS-82). Otherwise, you need a new application (DS-11), which requires an in-person appointment and proof of citizenship like a birth certificate. We handle both — just pick when you start.

Can you guarantee a 48-hour turnaround?

The 48-Hour Emergency tier uses State Department-registered couriers who hand-deliver to passport agencies. Our 48-hour guarantee covers the time from when we receive a complete, error-free application to passport delivery. Some delays are outside our control (e.g. State Department system outages), in which case we issue a partial refund.

What if my photo gets rejected?

It won't — our AI checks every photo against the same rules State uses, before you submit. If your photo has issues (background not white, glasses, etc.), we tell you exactly what to fix and let you re-upload. Most issues take 2 minutes to fix.

Do I still have to mail in my documents?

For renewals (DS-82): yes, we provide pre-paid return envelopes and clear instructions for what to mail. For new applications (DS-11): you'll need a brief in-person appointment at a Passport Acceptance Facility, but we book it for you and prepare everything beforehand.

What if my passport is lost or stolen?

You'll need to file a DS-64 form to report the loss in addition to the new application. We handle both forms — just check the 'lost or stolen' option when you start your application.

Do you handle passport renewals for children?

Yes. Children under 16 can't renew — they always need a new application (DS-11) with both parents present. We provide a separate child-specific wizard that handles the parental consent forms (DS-3053) when only one parent can attend.
