Morocco is a country of extraordinary contrasts — ancient medinas in Fez and Marrakech, the sweeping dunes of the Sahara, the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, and the whitewashed coastal town of Chefchaouen. Simply pack your valid passport and go. eGovRush monitors Morocco's entry requirements and will notify waitlist members immediately if visa rules change.

FAQs
Do US citizens need a visa for Morocco?
No. As of May 2026, U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Morocco for stays up to 90 days. You enter on a tourist stamp issued at the border — no advance application, no gov fee. Simply carry a valid U.S. passport.
Why is eGovRush offering a Morocco page if no visa is needed?
Visa-exemption policies can change — sometimes with very little notice. We maintain an advisory page and waitlist so that if Morocco introduces an eVisa or electronic travel authorization for U.S. citizens, our customers are immediately notified and can apply through us without searching for the new process from scratch.
What documents do I need to enter Morocco as a US citizen?
A valid U.S. passport is the primary requirement. Moroccan border officials may also ask for: proof of onward or return travel (a return flight booking), evidence of sufficient funds for your stay, and your accommodation address for the first night. While rarely enforced strictly, having these documents on hand is recommended.
Can I stay more than 90 days in Morocco?
The visa-free entry allows up to 90 days per visit. If you wish to stay longer, you must apply for a residence permit (carte de séjour) at a local police prefecture before your 90-day period expires. Extensions of tourist stays are generally not granted — the proper route is the residency permit pathway.
