Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to international tourism in a landmark shift, and the kingdom has plenty to offer: the ancient Nabataean city of Hegra at AlUla, the futuristic skyline of Riyadh, the archaeological wonders of Diriyah, and the pristine coral reefs of the Red Sea Riviera. U.S. citizens can now obtain a 1-year multiple-entry tourist eVisa online — no embassy visit required — making it easier than ever to explore one of the world's most ancient and rapidly evolving destinations.

How it works

Submit your details and passport photo through our secure form — takes about 10 minutes.
  2. 2
Our team reviews your application for errors and submits it to Saudi Arabia's official eVisa portal on your behalf, including the mandatory travel insurance enrollment.

FAQs

Can US citizens get a Saudi Arabia tourist visa?

Yes. Since 2019, Saudi Arabia has issued tourist visas to U.S. citizens and nationals of over 50 countries. The tourist eVisa is valid for 1 year with multiple entries and allows stays of up to 90 days per visit. This is a significant change from the Kingdom's former policy of restricting tourism.

What is the Saudi Arabia eVisa fee?

The Saudi government charges $80 USD for the tourist eVisa. Mandatory travel insurance is also required and purchased through the official portal for an additional ~$20. These government fees are separate from eGovRush's service fee.

Is the Umrah visa the same as the Saudi tourist eVisa?

No. The Umrah visa is a separate category specifically for Muslim pilgrims traveling to Mecca and Medina for religious purposes. eGovRush processes tourist eVisas only — we do not handle Umrah visas. For Umrah visa applications, please contact the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah or an authorized Umrah travel agency directly.

What should I know about traveling to Saudi Arabia as a tourist?

Saudi Arabia has modernized considerably, but travelers should be aware of local laws and customs. Modest dress is required in public spaces (though strict abaya requirements for women have been relaxed in tourist areas). Alcohol is prohibited throughout the Kingdom. Public displays of affection are discouraged. Photographing government buildings, military installations, and some public spaces may be restricted. Respecting local customs ensures a smooth and enjoyable visit.
